BackYardStudio in a lyrical romance with up-and-coming rap star simply known as A.B.A.T.Y who is inspired by success. A man of the moment christened Abati Oluwarotimi also known as Indivisible, knows his onions when it comes to making good contemporary music. BYS: What is music to you?
ABATY: From my point of view, music is the language of life, everywhere one goes one listen to music of various genres meant for different purposes at various places, and even un-consciously every individual make sounds of various rhymes and rhythms. We do music when we are happy, sad, up, down and also in several moods therefore music is the language we speak and listen to, in other to live a good life.
BYS: What genre of music are you into?
ABATY: I will simply say I am a creative writer, I am into poetry and music of many genre but basically I play fusion hip hop, I combine languages, with some elements of pun. When you listen to my songs you will observe that.
BYS: How many songs do you have to your credit?
ABATY: I have gotten eight songs with couple of features. And basically my
‘Buddie Anthem’, ‘Pun’, and ‘Stoneshell’ are out there doing well.

BYS: What inspires your songs?
ABATY: What has inspired me into music is passion for creativity and my creativity is inspired by my environment, you know the hard-knock life.
BYS: How long have you been doing music?
ABATY: It's been a long time, I started with the late Dagrin way back in Agbado-Ijaye area but I later submitted to academic pursuit, to equip myself for demands of music as a career.
BYS: What Record Label are you on?
ABATY: Currently, I am off a label due to some plans but I run an entertainment outfit known as A.B.D SQUARD, although I hope for a fruitful record label deal. Therefore when the label comes, the album would be released and will feature a track titled ‘Ibile-United’, so one can guess the artists to voice on the song. Though the tracks on the album can't be determined yet, but I will feature different genre of music to cut across different spheres of life.
BYS: So far, what keeps you going music wise?
ABATY: What keeps me going is the passion to succeed.

BYS: If not music, what would you be doing?ABATY: If I am not doing music, I will probably be doing creative works and showbiz especially. Also I got passion for the soccer, I enjoy playing football, and maybe later on I may consider politics not for the money but for the fact that I enjoy human relations a lot.

ABATY: I listen to many songs ranging from the old tunes to the contemporary tunes. I love meaningful lyrics so you can find Lara George, Asa and Dolly Parton and many more however you should note that I am a disciple of Lord of Ajasa.
BYS: If you are caught up on Iceland, what would you wish for?
ABATY: What I will wish for on the Iceland, hmmm, I never know o, maybe when I get there first *Laughs* okay I would wish to be allowed to make seven wishes and surely the love of a lady, don't ask me abeg, among other things would be in considerations.
