The Power Of Forgiveness

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another just as Christ forgave you  -Ephesians 4:32

In life, we cannot breathe and not offend someone somewhere. To achieve a mission in life, be rest assured that in your pursuit of happiness you will offend people with your actions and in-actions. Likewise, people will offend you in their own pursuit of happiness too. You see! That’s the world we live in.

All we need is to forgive!

Most times when I feel offended, I will personally examine the situation and see ‘if’ I would have done same thing the person did to offend me! -Not immediately though,’ cos I still fit dey vex like Lion, lolz- But, you know we all cannot reason same way. Just forgive and let it go!

I saw this quote somewhere and I totally I agree with the sense in it. It goes thus:

“Forgiveness is unlocking the door to set someone free and realizing that you were the prisoner”

This is very true. If you have someone that you hate –‘cos they offended your highness- every time you set your eyes on that person or their facebook post, tweets or pictures. You do have a thorny feeling –kilonse gan, see his head.-

Such a feeling, according to ‘experts’, it drains your blood and vitality. All your veins are worked out for every second you have such a feeling. And the sad news is that you might be the ONLY one nurturing such feeling and the other person is just fine fine fine –like Mary J. Blige’s Just fine-

So why don’t you set yourself FREE today!

When you forgive, then your Father in Heaven will forgive your daily shortcomings. And His blessings will increase in your life!

So, forgive that Brother, Sister, co-worker, Uncle, Aunt, Husband, Wife or that Boss who might have offended you in their own pursuit of happiness! And believe me you will find yourself flying without wings but with joy and freedom.

Then Success will find you wherever you are! You will rise again. Cheers
