Friday Bliss

Here is another chance to say Thank God it’s Friday and looking forward to a restful weekend. From Monday to Friday, it’s been a hustle; from waking up early, quick meals, bus rush and fast pace to meet the 8am opening hour. There are lot of reasons why we say T.G.I.F.
I want to ask you this personal question “How best do you make use of your weekends?”

How do you spend your weekends when there is no opening hour, bus rush, quick meals and no Boss that will strangle you with files and duties?
For me, personally I don’t usually have a weekend plan other than enjoying the company of my wife and daughter; family bonding, thereafter its football and time-out chilling with friends.
Until I found out that there is more to weekends after family bonding and chilling with friends. It’s quite a right time for personal reflection and improvement.
1.     Read a book that will increase your career knowledge. There are books that will help widen your knowledge in different ways. Go to Bookshop, browse through the shelves for books. You will sure get one that will add to your knowledge. You could also get books that will help build your spiritual life. About a week ago, I have been reading several motivational journals; which are truly helpful. So get a book this weekend!
2.     Movies. There are some movies that will help mould your mind to greatness in your endeavours. After I got married, I enjoyed watching movies with my wife and some of the movies we’ve seen include Fireproof. A nice movie.
3.     Exercise. Hmmm, medical experts do say that exercise help to flush out tiredness. The week has been hectic and we need to let go that fatigue by exercising mildly. On-the-spot jogging, push-ups and stretching are great ways to exercise mildly. Swimming also is a good way to exercise; get a good swimming pool around you and just enjoy the water!
4.     Eat well. During the week meals are like snacks, we rush to cook and eat them. But weekends gives us the privilege to enjoy our meals. Prepare a delicious and nutritious meal, eat and drink enough water too.
5.     Rest. Sleep. Relax.
For me, the above mentioned weekend plans are better ways to keep body and soul fit and positioned for success!
So, what will you be doing this weekend? If you don't take care of your body, who will? Go find your greatness and you will rise again. Cheers!
