The Life God Wants You To Live

Most times we find ourselves wandering the surface of the earth like the biblical Israelites in the wilderness. We have our aspiration and dreams but I want you to understand that “We can make our plans but the Lord determines our steps” – Proverbs 16: 9

We all agree that we want to make Heaven but sometimes we want to do that without considering what it entails to live rightly. God specifically gave us His commandments in the Old Testament and here are the three important truths to help you enjoy the life God wants to you live.

Believe God wants you to succeed
Give up the unscriptural notion that this life has no value. God has a special work for you to do...here and now. Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith The Lord, the thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
You may ask “what defines success? The answer is the progressive achievement of a God given goal, resulting in feeling good about you.
“Carefully follow the terms of this covenant, so that you may prosper in everything you do” Deuteronomy 29:9 NIV.

Consult God before you set your goals
The Bible says “We should make plans...counting on God to direct us” Proverbs 16: 9 TLB.
If you are constantly stressed out and confused you may be on the wrong track. Go back and check with God: what has He told you to do?
It’s His will for you to succeed in these six areas,
v Spiritual
v Relationship
v Physical
v Mental
v Social
v Financial

“...whatever he does shall prosper.” Psalms 1: 3 NKV

Invest in yourself
“Though it cost all you have, get understanding” Proverbs 4: 7 NIV.
If you are willing to spend money at fine restaurants but not in good books, your future is already determined. And the first book you need to invest in is a Bible.
John writes “And the word was God” John 1:1 NIV.
That means each time you read God’s word, you are depositing more of God into you.
Whao!! Think how that affects your life! Cultivate a teachable spirit.
“Let the wise listen and add to their learning” Proverbs 1: 5 NIV.
May God bless us all and give us discerning spirit to appreciate the life He wants us to live. I believe your future is bright and no one can take that away from you once you believe in yourself. You will rise again. For sure!
