WEEKENDDISH: Ikokore Ijebu Special

Written by:  Miss Ogunmefun Olayinka
The holidays are over and the weekend is here. This is another opportunity for us to prepare a delicious meal and today we are preparing Ikokore ijebu.
Ingredients:
Water Yam
Salt
Palm-oil
Blended Pepper
Crayfish
Maggi
Boiled Fish
How to prepare:

Slice the Water Yam into pieces, rinse it and grate it in a bowl. Add a pinch of salt to taste and mix together.
Place your pot on the stove, add palm-oil and let it boil, then pour the blended pepper and allow it steam.
Add the crayfish, maggi, boiled fish and salt to taste, then stir it completely and let it boil.
Then add your Water Yam into the stew and stir.
There you have it and the ikokore is ready to eat! You can eat it alone or you can eat with Eba.
