To be successful
in life, we need to make effort, although sometimes our efforts leads to
mistakes. The mistakes we make, while trying to succeed, are the ‘theoretical
note book’ we study during our practical/journey through life.
“When I started using biro during my primary
school days, when I make a mistake, I would try hard to erase it. Sometimes I
use chalk, but re-appears. Then sometimes I use my saliva, it worked but it
made a hole in my book. My Teacher do beat me for being dirty and careless. But
all I was trying to do was to cover my errors/mistakes.
One day, a kind
hearted Teacher called me aside and said:
"Bobo,
anytime you make a mistake, just cross it and move on. Trying to erase it would
only damage your book".
"But, I
don't want people to see my mistake and laugh at me", I responded.
"Trying to
erase it will make more people know about your mess, and the stigma is for
life", she said”.
I learnt a
beautiful lesson that very day.
So, have you made
a mistake, and you so wish to erase it?
Please, do ‘CROSS’
it and move on.
That is, take
your mistakes to GOD through prayers and true repentance, ‘CROSS’ it and move
on, then He will forgive, support and bless YOU!
Don't try to
create more irredeemable errors by trying within your power to erase it. All
you have to do is ‘CROSS’ it.
No one is above
mistakes, just ‘CROSS’ it. You will rise again, do have a pleasant day ahead…cheers!
