2015 Presidential Election And Its Top Five Lessons

The much anticipated 2015 Presidential elections are gone but the vital lessons will remain an integral part of our lives now and the future of our great nation. Here are the top five lessons to hold on to from 2015 Presidential Election conducted peacefully by Nigerians for Nigeria. It takes ONLY the inner eyes to see this. Enjoy reading:

1. Money Can't Buy Friendship: before the elections, aspirants of different political parties took to the streets, chambers and chalets (especially where they have not visited in the last couple of years) to canvass for votes thereby giving gifts and money in its high quality to gather votes. The Fire-Brigade approach was not enough to change the masses minds from the real CHANGE.
2. Never Give Up on Your Dreams: A taste of victory is sweeter than the consolation in defeat. The winner of the 2015 presidential election never gave up on his dreams of becoming a democratic elected president. Like Abraham Lincoln of the United State, Rtd Gen. Buhari despite failing in his several attempts to win the election, his faith was never defeated. Failure is not an excuse not to try again, every four years he kept on coming strong and strong till he made it. No matter how many times you have tried, never give up. Keep trying. Success is yours!

 3. Standout In Your Approach To Success, Be Innovative: Despite the alleged reported cases of election malpractices, the card reader gave the election an edge over past conducted elections. The President of United States, Barrack Obama gave Attahiru Jega, INEC Chairman, a Certificate of Commendation for his innovative approach to curbing election malpractices in Nigeria. The card reader gave the election results a convincing status. Learn to acquire something new and positive today in your pursuit of happiness and success.
4. Your True Value is Not Determine By Your Bank Account: Nigerians voted for integrity and change. before the elections, President-Elect, General Mohammad Buhari rtd requested for financial assistance to buy the presidential form of his political party...hmmm, many people, especially political big-wigs doubted his claims but today he won the elections not for his account balance but because the people believed in his antecedents which is known for integrity and zero tolerance for corruption. Your financial status does not determine your success it is what you have and what you stand for. Be guided.
5. Look Out For Destructive Forces: There are some people who will make every effort to scuttle your effort towards success. Learn to watch and listen to them precisely and give them 1001 reasons why they cannot stand on your way to the promise land. On 31 March 2015, Peter Godsday Orubebe, acting as a polling agent for the PDP, made attempts at disrupting the proceedings of the presidential election collation. Orubebe alleged that INEC Chairman had taken side with the opposition political party. Despite his public outcry, the collation still went on due to the salient facts given by Jega. Look out for people who are determined to destroy your success, avoid and wisely discard them.
