The Will To Excel

To succeed in life you need to plan and re-plan your strategies. Make plans to excel and if your plans are not working out due to economical, societal or political factors in your environment (especially in a country like Nigeria) then you need to re-plan base on the current factors!
Going to school will not only teach you that course but also instil discipline in you. Once you are equipped with the certificate and innate discipline, then all you need is the will to excel. The spirit and the will to excel is what you need to endure the aforementioned factors. No matter how much they come at you! Never rest on your oars until you get to your desired destination.
Henry Ford, the founder of the Ford Motor Company, once said that "You cannot build a reputation on what you are going to do" until you do them. You have to execute your plans first.
In life, you need focus, on a dream that is, which will motivate you and lead you on! "Hold fast to your dreams, for without them life is a broken winged bird that cannot fly" so says Langston Hughes.

The pain you feel today is the strength you feel tomorrow. For every challenge encountered there is opportunity for growth. And ultimately, know that only you can decide what is best for you, every other person are only signposts on the path of life, you must choose your direction. And when you choose, choose wisely!

* Speaking at the C.A.C City Of Peace Youth Night, Lagos.

"I may not look pretty when I'm building my house of dreams, I may even look stupid when sometimes in the mud I slip and fall, but somehow, someday my cup will fill to the brim, then this house that I built, will give shelter to all, big and small! Everything you can imagine is real. Life is not about finding yourself, it is about creating yourself. Just when you think it can't get any worse, it can. And just when you think it can't get any better, it can.
Don't give up on your dreams, good things don't  come easy, brace up! You will rise again. Cheers
