The year 2016…hmm, to some the year was good and to others not so bad but ultimately we survived the year hale and healthy. Now the focus is the year 2017, and I believe that we all want to succeed in our endeavors.

This is the best time to plan for a successful year ahead!

Planning is very essential to success and here are the points to consider before and all through the year 2017.

1. ON EARNING:

Never depend on a single income. Make investment to create a second chance.

2. ON SPENDING:

You don’t have to impress people by buying what you don’t need. If you buy things you do not need, soon you will have to sell things you need.

3. ON SAVINGS:

Encourage savings. Do not save what is left after spending, but spend what is left after saving.

4. ON TAKING RISK:

Risks is part of life. Take a critical look at risks before you take them. Never test the depth of a river with both feet.

5. ON INVESTMENT:

Endeavor to invest, no matter how little. Do not put all eggs in one basket.

6. ON EXPECTATIONS:

In life, everybody is fighting individual battle, so when someone promise you something, don’t be disappointed when they fail to fulfil it. Honesty is a very expensive gift. Do not expect it from cheap people.

7. FORGET THE PAST:

The Past is a wasted paper, The Present is a newspaper, and the Future is a question paper. Come out of your past, control the present, and secure the future.

8. LIFE CHOICES:

When bad things happen in your life, you have three choices. You can either let it define you, let it destroy you or you can let it strengthen you.

9. LOOK AHEAD:

Our eyes are in the front because it is more important to look ahead than to look backwards.
